As an AutoCAD Draughtsman specializing in interior and joinery, you will play a crucial role in the project by collaborating with the design manager to understand the project requirements. Your responsibilities will include studying the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and tender drawings to identify the architectural and joinery scope. It is essential to manage your workload efficiently, maintain project schedules, and ensure timely drawing submissions. You will be responsible for creating detailed architectural drawings, plans, and elevations that are accurately coordinated. Additionally, you will prepare joinery shop drawings with meticulous detailing, ensuring alignment with architectural specifications. Knowledge of the joinery process and attention to detail are key to success in this role. Collaboration with the design engineer is vital in preparing procurement lists for specific materials required for the project. Your expertise in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Projects will be essential to deliver accurate design solutions. Experience in the Gulf/GCC region and familiarity with the industry standards will be an added advantage. To excel in this position, you must have a minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role, with a background in construction, interior, or architecture. A degree or diploma in Architecture or a relevant trade apprenticeship is required, along with proficiency in AutoCAD and related software. This is a full-time position with the flexibility of working from home. The ideal candidate should have a secondary education (10th pass) and a total of 3 years of work experience. Proficiency in English is necessary to effectively communicate and collaborate with the team.
