Job Title: Site In charge – Production (First Class Mining) Location: WB Department: Mining Operations / Production Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced BE/BTech (Mining) engineers from premier institutes having First -Class Mines Manager certificate of competency to plan and manage production activities at our mining site. The Site In charge – Production will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations, safety compliance, production targets, manpower management, and adherence to statutory regulations as per DGMS guidelines. Key Responsibilities: Lead a team of mining engineers, supervisors, and contractors to achieve production goals. Ensure coordination between planning, production and maintenance teams to ensure optimal equipment utilization. Plan and supervise all mining related jobs at the site. Advice and guide the other mining engineers to Manage day-to-day mining operations to meet production targets including optimization of drilling, blasting, excavation, and crusher operations. Ensure compliance with all mining regulations, safety standards, and statutory obligations related to DGMS, IBM, MOEF etc. Conduct regular safety meetings, risk assessments, and implement corrective measures. Ensure Maintenance of records and reports as per Mines Act and other relevant regulatory frameworks. Liaise with local authorities, government agencies, and internal departments as required. Report production status, challenges, and improvements to senior management. Qualifications: First Class Mines Manager Certificate (Metal) – Mandatory (Restricted/UN Restricted) B. E / B.Tech in Mining Engineering from a recognized institution Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in opencast mining production operations Experience in mine panning tools like Surpac, Minex, Datamine etc will be an added advantage Skills: Strong leadership and team management Excellent knowledge of DGMS regulations and mine safety standards Production planning and execution Problem-solving and crisis management Communication and reporting Other Requirements: Should be willing to stay near the project location Physically fit to work in mining environments Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Benefits: Cell phone reimbursement Food provided Health insurance Paid sick time Provident Fund Supplemental Pay: Yearly bonus Work Location: In person
