GCP DevOps Engineer

As a skilled DevOps Engineer with 5 to 12 years of experience, you will be responsible for contributing to our dynamic team with a strong background in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipeline creation, and proficiency in GCP services. Your key responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software. You will also manage and maintain code repositories using GitHub, following best practices for version control and collaboration. Moreover, you will be required to write and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform/YAML to guarantee consistent and reliable deployment processes. Utilizing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services to build, deploy, and scale applications will be a crucial part of your role. Efficiently managing and optimizing cloud resources to ensure cost-effective operations is another aspect of the job. Your responsibilities will further extend to implementing automation scripts and monitoring tools to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and performance of our systems. Collaborating closely with development, QA, and operations teams will be essential to ensure smooth workflows and quick issue resolution. Additionally, you will need to ensure that all systems and processes comply with security and regulatory standards. To excel in this role, you must possess a strong understanding of DevOps principles including continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment. Extensive experience with GitHub for version control, collaboration, and pipeline integration is a must. Hands-on experience in creating and managing CI/CD pipelines, as well as solid experience with GCP services, including compute, storage, networking, and security, are essential skills required for this position. Preferred qualifications include Google Cloud Platform certification, proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar, and experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Stackdriver. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is the educational qualification expected for this role.,
