GCP Data Engineer (ETL Migration)

GCP Data Engineer

Important Note:

This opportunity is open only to candidates currently residing in Tamil Nadu, including those from other states who are currently working in Tamil Nadu.
Please note that this is a client-specific requirement, and profiles not meeting this preference may not be considered for further evaluation.

Key Responsibilities:

Migrate ETL processes to GCP-native services (BigQuery, Dataflow, DataFusion, etc.)
Design, develop & deploy scalable data pipelines
Analyze existing JCL/ETL jobs and dependencies
Troubleshoot production issues and support job performance tuning
Lead estimation, testing, deployment, and monitoring

Must-Have Skills:

Experience:

5+ years in complex SQL and ETL development
2+ years in GCP at production scale
Experience with DataStage, Autosys/Astronomer, GitHub
