Key Responsibilities: Final Inspection Support: Assist in the final visual and dimensional inspection of finished brass components. Verify conformance to specifications using measuring instruments like Vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc. Documentation & Records: Maintain accurate inspection records, test results, and rejection reports. Assist in preparing daily inspection reports for the Final Quality Inspector. Sample Checking: Conduct random sample inspections as per control plan or work instructions. Tag and segregate accepted and rejected parts. Defect Identification: Identify and report defects like cracks, dents, burrs, wrong threading, and plating issues. Communicate non-conformities to the senior inspector or production team. Support in Root Cause Analysis: Assist in collecting data and samples for analysis during internal rejection or customer complaints. Coordinate with the Final Inspector in implementing corrective actions.
