Description
As a Mechanical Engineer in the Semiconductor domain, you will be responsible for the gas distribution system design and components selections. Your role will involve designing, developing, and implementing custom mechanical tooling, fixturing, and associated processes to facilitate the handling, assembly, and disassembly of parts throughout the product life cycle. You will establish standards across operational processes and have a key part in selecting OEM components such as regulators, valves, UHP fittings, and vacuum sensors. Your key responsibilities will include developing, designing, or modifying mechanical engineering layouts, schematics, and detailed drawings under guidance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams for extended design roles, interpret simulation data, and provide valuable solutions for further optimizations. Additionally, you will be involved in product design and drafting using CAD tools, specifying and reviewing engineering documentation, and implementing concepts for various product issues and mechanical solutions. To excel in this role, you should hold a B. Tech/M. Tech in Mechanical Engineering with relevant industry experience, preferably in the Semiconductor sector. You are expected to demonstrate expertise in mechanical engineering design, heat transfer, engineering drawings, GD&T/ASME standards, SEMI, ANSI, ISO standards, materials, manufacturing processes, numerical methods, CAD tools, and analysis. In addition, you should possess problem-solving skills, the ability to work within broad guidelines and policies, and the capacity to impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within your team and related teams.
