About the role : Gartner is looking for well-rounded and motivated technical Leaders to join the Gartner Innovation Tools team. The Innovation Tools team is responsible for developing innovative growth Tools for end-users that help them solve their mission critical priorities. What youll do: Be a tech lead for high performing Engineering teams who build software products. Collaborate with a cross-functional team of application developers, product operations, architects to understand complex product requirements and translate them into automated solutions. Establish best practices for automating the creation of scalable/resilient systems. Build and implement operational standards for end user facing products. Participate in problem solving discussions to ensure systems are designed for the right problems. Create successful deployment, security, and availability strategies for Product in the cloud. Collaborate with colleagues to support and improve systems, processes, standards and tools. Collaborate closely with other areas of Gartner IT to leverage best practices and shared capabilities. Partner with Gartner Product group to define and execute a cohesive technology roadmap and lead teams responsible for building Tools. What youll need: Strong IT professional with high-end knowledge on Designing and Development of innovative growth Tools for end-users. The candidate should have strong qualitative and quantitative problem-solving abilities and is expected to yield ownership and accountability. Must have: Strong leadership skills in the areas of communication, collaboration, talent development, and stakeholder relationships. 6-8 years of experience in software development leading teams of developers in support of complex business functions. Expertise in ReactJS is a must. Expert skills in CSS and Design libraries like Tailwind. Experience with Node.js, Nextjs, server-side rendering or Micro Frontend. Built solutions for high performance and low latency. Hands-on exposure to Jenkins, packaging, CI/CD is a plus. Exposure to Java, Spring Boot and similar J2EE frameworks. Solid understanding of Databases, NoSQL, JavaScript frameworks, and AWS Services (e.g. API Gateway, Lambda). Conduct design and code reviews, ensuring best practices are followed by the team. Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral, written and group presentations). Ability to work collaboratively across the IT organization and with business partners to identify systemic operational patterns and innovate on them. Who you are: Graduate/Post-graduate in BE/Btech, ME/MTech or MCA is preferred. Excellent communication and prioritization skills. Able to work independently or within a team proactively in a fast-paced AGILE-SCRUM environment. Strong desire to improve upon their skills in software development, frameworks, and technologies.
