Game Tester (Contract Role)

Role Overview: As a Game Tester, your role involves setting up test environments, designing, and executing test cases. You will collaborate with the development team to identify and capture test cases, follow industry standards while executing test cases, and take complete ownership of the assigned project. Your responsibility includes playing and testing the game repeatedly in different ways and situations, figuring out unexpected ways to break the game, and reporting bugs. It is crucial to clearly identify when reporting a bug and provide clear steps to reproduce with supporting videos or screenshots whenever possible. Key Responsibilities: - Setting up test environments and designing & executing test cases. - Collaborating with the development team to identify and capture test cases. - Following industry standards while executing test cases. - Taking complete ownership of the assigned project. - Playing and testing the game repeatedly in various ways and situations. - Identifying unexpected ways to break the game and reporting bugs. - Clearly distinguishing between reporting a bug and a feature. - Providing clear steps to reproduce with supporting videos or screenshots.
