Description
Position : Game Designer Location : Ahmedabad ey Responsibilities: Game Design & Development Design and document core game mechanics, meta systems, and content loops. Develop engaging level design, progression systems, and balancing. Own the design vision from concept to implementation, collaborating closely with developers, artists, and producers. Create detailed GDDs (Game Design Documents), UX wireframes, and design specs. Build and iterate on prototypes to test new ideas and mechanics. Balancing & Tuning Balance gameplay mechanics to ensure fun, fairness, and challenge. Tune game economies (virtual currencies, item pricing, rewards) for optimal player engagement and monetization. Player Experience & Narrative Craft player-centric experiences, focusing on onboarding, tutorials, and progression. Work with writers or narrative designers to align game story with mechanics. Cross-functional Collaboration Work closely with CXOs, developers, artists, and QA to ensure seamless implementation of features. Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Analytics & Optimization Interpret game analytics to refine systems and enhance KPIs like retention, engagement, and ARPU. Run A/B tests and gather player feedback for data-driven improvements. Tools & Documentation Use tools like Unity, Asset Stores, Blender, Maya, Photoshop, Adobe , Figma, Miro, Google Docs/Sheets, Trello/JIRA for design and documentation.
