As a Game Artist (2D/UI) at Midknightstudio Private Limited, you will be responsible for creating visually engaging 2D artwork and intuitive user interfaces for kids learning games. Your creativity and attention to detail will play a key role in crafting colorful and age-appropriate game elements that captivate children aged 3-10. Key Responsibilities: - Design 2D characters, environments, icons, and animations specifically tailored for mobile games. - Create playful and user-friendly UI/UX elements such as buttons, menus, and popups that are optimized for kids. - Collaborate closely with game designers and developers to bring game concepts to life in Unity. - Ensure a consistent visual style is maintained across various games and levels. - Provide production-ready assets and support asset integration in Unity at a basic level. - Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to concept art for new game ideas. Required Skills: - Minimum of 1 year of experience in 2D game art and UI design, preferably within the mobile gaming industry. - Proficiency in tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, or similar software. - Strong understanding of color theory, layout, composition, and visual storytelling. - Ability to design clean, kid-friendly, and intuitive UI suitable for children aged 3-10. - Familiarity with mobile screen resolutions, export formats, and asset pipelines. Bonus Points: - Prior experience working on kids games or educational apps. - Knowledge of Unity, including importing assets, working with prefabs, and animations. - Basic animation skills using software like Spine, Unity Animator, or frame-by-frame techniques. - Understanding of AR/VR aesthetics and optimizing assets for performance.
