Furniture Designer Core Team Member

As an emerging furniture brand based in Kozhikode, known for quality, creativity, and customer trust, Minlight Furniture is seeking a dedicated and advanced Furniture Designer to join our core team for the long term. In this role, you will be responsible for designing modern, aesthetic, and functional furniture collections for home and commercial spaces. Your creativity and passion for furniture and interior design will be crucial in shaping the future design identity of Minlight. Working closely with management, you will translate concepts into production-ready designs, develop 3D models, sketches, and mood boards, and stay updated on global design trends, materials, and finishes. Collaboration with the production and marketing team will ensure design feasibility and brand alignment. Key Responsibilities: - Design modern, aesthetic, and functional furniture collections for home and commercial spaces. - Translate concepts into production-ready designs. - Develop 3D models, sketches, and mood boards for client presentations and production. - Research global design trends, materials, and finishes. - Collaborate with the production and marketing team to ensure design feasibility and brand alignment. Qualifications Required: - Strong creativity and passion for furniture and interior design. - Experience in 3D design software (SketchUp, AutoCAD, Rhino, or similar). - Good understanding of materials, ergonomics, and construction. - Ability to work independently and think ahead of trends. - Degree/diploma in Furniture Design, Interior Design, or related field (preferred).
