You are a reliable and highly skilled Multi-Skilled Facilities Technician responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting various building systems and equipment. Your role involves proficiency in carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, and general maintenance to ensure the safe and efficient operation of facilities. Your key responsibilities include conducting routine inspections of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and mechanical systems, performing repairs and maintenance on building structures, furniture, fixtures, and appliances. You will also be installing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical components, diagnosing and resolving plumbing issues, and carrying out carpentry work such as door and window repairs. Additionally, you will assist in setting up and maintaining office or facility spaces, respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, maintain detailed records of maintenance work, inspections, and repairs, and coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, keeping tools and equipment organized, and maintaining optimal performance are also part of your responsibilities. As a qualified candidate, you should have proven experience as a multi-skilled technician, handyman, or maintenance worker with strong knowledge of carpentry, electrical systems, plumbing, and basic mechanical systems. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment, problem-solving skills, and good communication abilities are essential. Relevant certifications or licenses and physical capability to perform maintenance tasks are a plus. The working conditions involve both outdoor and indoor work in different environmental conditions, on-call availability for emergency repairs outside regular hours, and physical tasks like standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing ladders or scaffolding.
