In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing annual, semi-annual, and quarterly financial statements in compliance with GAAP or IFRS standards. Leading assigned engagements involves tasks such as planning, budgeting, client relationship management, and delegation to staff members. Monitoring and reporting out-of-scope time, ensuring accuracy of footnote disclosures, and reviewing legal documents governing the fund are also key responsibilities. You will collaborate internally, with clients, and external auditors, as well as contribute to identifying and communicating recent authoritative pronouncements globally. Qualifications for this position include five to seven years of asset management accounting experience, preferably in an Audit Firm, Hedge Fund, Hedge Fund Administrator, or similar financial institution. A strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and complex derivatives is required, along with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics. Professional designations such as CPA or CA are preferred, and the ability to travel as necessary is essential. Good communication, writing skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office products, Bloomberg navigation, and a team-oriented approach are also important attributes.
