Fund Accountant-NAV

The Senior Associate position is a full-time, permanent role based in Bangalore with a minimum experience requirement of 3+ years. As a Senior Associate, your primary responsibilities will include: - Obtaining monthly NAV statements for various Hedge funds and calculating unrealized gain/loss for Investment fund, updating General Ledger accordingly. - Performing pre-distribution analysis on the sale of an investment to determine proceeds for distribution to investors. - Conducting a monthly Schedule of Investment reconciliation to calculate unrealized gain/loss, updating General Ledger for various funds. - Preparing Semi-Annual Combined Account Statements (CAS) showing Partner's capital balances with deal-wise break out, reporting to Investors including equity commitment & loan commitments calculation. - Creating Financial Statements such as Trial Balance, Profit & Loss Statement, and Balance Sheet for year-end Audit Supports. - Preparation & presentation of Estimated and Final Tax Packs, matching book income with taxable income as per K-1 schedule. - Generating Capital calls memos, distribution notices & wires for various private equity funds. - Updating and creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for different deliverables, establishing control checks for accuracy. - Reviewing wires to display cash movement, recording day-to-day Journal entries in Investran Accounting application. - Recording PCAP entries like Contribution & distribution based on Capital call and distribution notices. - Reconciling short-term loans monthly to determine loan balances due to the firm. - Updating GP and Fund expenses, Investment purchase and sale entries in Investran. - Performing Leverage (Loan) reconciliation quarterly to reconcile Outstanding Leverages balances with Investran.
