Job Description

As a Trainer for Securities Operations at Societe Generale GSC, you will play a crucial role in delivering structured training programs for India and France, focusing on Equities and Bonds, as well as back-office operations. You should have strong expertise in Trade Operations, including Settlements, Fails management, Pre-matching, Corporate Actions, Change Management, Treasury Management & Depot/Nostro reconciliation. Additionally, fluency in English and experience in training delivery and content development are essential. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver engaging and effective training sessions (virtual/in-person) on trade finance operations, including Trade Settlements, Reconciliations, Corporate Actions, and Letters of Credit (LCs). - Conduct onboarding training for new joiners and refresher/upskilling sessions for existing staff in India and France. - Develop and maintain up-to-date training content tailored to local and French operational contexts, incorporating real-life case studies, process simulations, and regulatory updates. - Collaborate with business leads, compliance, and operations heads to identify training needs and act as a training SME for internal stakeholders and cross-border counterparts. - Support the enhancement of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure adherence to regulatory and internal compliance standards. - Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying gaps in process knowledge, recurring errors, and areas of training needs. **Profile Required:** **Education & Experience:** - Bachelors degree in Commerce, Finance, or equivalent. A Masters/MBA preferred. - 6-10 years of experience in Securities Operations and at least 2+ years in a training or knowledge management role. - Prior experience in banking back-office operations is essential. **Skills & Competencies:** - Strong knowledge of Equities, OTC Derivatives and Bonds. - Fluency in English is mandatory. - Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills. - Proven ability to develop training materials, conduct workshops, and manage LMS platforms. - Analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to simplify complex processes. - Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills across geographies.
