Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Fullstack Functional Tester with expertise in Postman to ensure the quality and reliability of our web applications across frontend and backend systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in API testing, automation, and functional validation, with a deep understanding of RESTful services and web technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute functional test cases for both frontend (UI) and backend (API) components.
Perform API testing using Postman, including writing and maintaining test scripts (JavaScript).
Automate API and integration tests using Postman Collections and Newman for CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate with developers to reproduce, debug, and resolve defects.
Conduct end-to-end testing by integrating frontend and backend validations.
Work with Swagger/OpenAPI documentation to ensure test coverage.
Perform data-driven testing and mock server setups in Postman.
Integrate Postman tests with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or other CI/CD tools.
Report and track defects using tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar.
Ensure adherence to QA best practices and contribute to test strategy improvements.Role & responsibilities
