Functional Test Engineer

As a Software Engineer in Functional Test at Lexmark India, you will be responsible for driving quality engineering best practices for complex enterprise-level software systems in Cloud/Enterprise platform involving multiple applications and technologies. With at least 0 to 2 years of relevant experience, you must have graduated in BE/BTech preferably in Computer Science & Engineering or Information Technology with excellent academic records throughout with a minimum of 70% marks. Your key responsibilities will include analyzing application features, designing test scenarios/test cases for end-end functional testing, executing tests, logging and tracking defects to closure, and preparing test summary reports. You will also be expected to understand Requirement Specifications, influence software design, interpret business and technical diagrams to derive test strategies, and communicate effectively with business stakeholders and developers across multiple teams. To excel in this role, you should possess programming skills in Java, Python, and knowledge in Database. Additionally, knowledge of Cloud, IOT will be considered an added advantage. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to troubleshoot and think out of the box, are crucial for success in this position. Familiarity with Agile Scrum and other software development lifecycles, as well as defect management tools, will be beneficial.
