Job Description: We are looking for a dedicated and experienced nurse to provide healthcare services to our students and staff during school hours. The school nurse will be responsible for managing minor injuries, overseeing health screenings, maintaining health records, and promoting a healthy school environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide first aid and emergency care to students and staff. Manage daily health concerns including injuries, headaches, stomach aches, etc. Maintain accurate health records and medical histories of students. Administer prescribed medications as per doctor’s instructions. Monitor students with chronic illnesses (e.g., asthma, diabetes, epilepsy). Liaise with parents regarding students’ health issues. Promote hygiene, nutrition, and preventive healthcare through awareness campaigns. Support the school in handling health emergencies Qualifications: Diploma or Degree in Nursing (GNM/B.Sc Nursing) from a recognized institution. Valid nursing license/registration (preferably with Tamil Nadu Nursing Council). Minimum 1-2 years of experience, preferably in a pediatric or school setting. Basic knowledge of child psychology and school health regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergencies.
