About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer with 6–8 years of experience to join our core engineering team. You will be responsible for designing, developing and scaling applications across the Speedioo technology platform. This is a hands-on engineering role where you will work across frontend, backend, APIs and application architecture. You will work closely with the Head of Engineering, Product, Business and Operations teams to understand problems, design solutions and deliver production-ready systems. The role is broad by design. You will have the opportunity to work across different products, business functions and technology challenges as Speedioo scales. 

Key Responsibilities

Full Stack Development

● Design, develop and deploy scalable web applications.

● Build high-quality frontend experiences using React.js and/or Angular.

● Develop backend services and APIs using Python and/or Node.js.

● Design efficient application and data models.

● Build reusable components and services.

● Write clean, maintainable and scalable code.

● Optimize applications for performance and reliability.

Backend & API Engineering

● Design and develop robust REST APIs.

● Build business logic and workflow automation.

● Implement authentication and authorization.

● Work with asynchronous processing and event-driven workflows.

● Build reliable application services.

● Handle errors, edge cases and system failures effectively. 

Frontend Engineering

● Build responsive and intuitive web applications.

● Develop reusable UI components and frontend architecture.

● Work with state management and API integrations.

● Optimize frontend performance and user experience.

● Build applications for customers, sales teams, field teams, operations and management.

System Design & Architecture

● Participate in architecture and technical design decisions.

● Design scalable applications, APIs and services.

● Identify performance, reliability and scalability bottlenecks.

● Make pragmatic technology decisions based on business requirements.

● Balance speed of execution with long-term maintainability.

● Contribute to technical standards and engineering best practices.

Product & Business Ownership

● Understand business problems and translate them into technology solutions.

● Work closely with Product, Business and Operations teams.

● Challenge requirements and propose better solutions where appropriate.

● Own features end-to-end: Understand → Design → Develop → Test → Deploy → Monitor → Improve.

● Take responsibility for the systems and products you build.

● Continuously identify opportunities to improve products, processes and technology.

What We Are Looking For

Technical Skills

● 6–8 years of professional software engineering experience.

● Strong hands-on experience in Python or Node.js.

● Strong experience in React.js or Angular.

● Strong understanding of application architecture and system design.

● Experience designing and developing production-grade applications and APIs.

● Good understanding of software engineering fundamentals.

● Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

● Experience working in a product/startup environment is preferred.

Education

Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline is preferred. Strong practical engineering experience will also be valued.
