Full Stack Engineer (Python, Angular) | Remote | New York (EST) time zone

You are being sought after to join a banking client in New York, USA as a Python Full Stack Developer. You will be working remotely during the EST time zone. Your primary responsibilities will include developing business applications in adherence to the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes. This involves ensuring best practices from requirements gathering through to deployment and maintenance. Your tasks will encompass coding, code review, unit testing, integration testing, collaborating with project teams for accurate completion of assignments, ensuring business applications meet requirements, generating relevant documentation, supporting the QA team and UAT, as well as communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. In terms of technical skills, you should be proficient in Python with Django or Flask for backend development, Angular for frontend development, and MS SQL Server for database management. To be considered for this role, you should possess a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant work experience. Additionally, you must demonstrate proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Angular, Type Script, Java Script, .Net, SQL, and software development tools like VS Code, Visual Studio, SQL Management Studio. A strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and database management is essential. Experience with version control systems, particularly Team Foundation Server (TFS), is required. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, effective communication and interpersonal abilities, as well as proficiency in documentation are crucial.
