You'll be developing a desktop application with Electron, React, and Node.js, and integrating AI features through APIs or open-source models. You will work directly with the co-founder and have the opportunity to join at the ground level as part of the founding team.
Build and maintain cross-platform desktop applications with Electron and React.
Develop backend services with Node.js.
Integrate AI/ML features (e.g., via OpenAI, Hugging Face, or custom models).
Package, deploy, and optimize desktop applications.
Contribute to design, code reviews, and technical discussions with the client's team.
Proven, hands-on experience with Electron (must-have).
Strong proficiency in React and Node.js.
Solid background in full-stack development.
Practical experience integrating AI/ML APIs or models (preferred).
Understanding of desktop app performance, deployment, and updates.
3+ years of professional software development experience.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Experience with SQLite, WebSockets, or real-time features.
CI/CD for desktop applications.
Familiarity with UX/UI development.
Cloud platform experience (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Open-source or personal project contributions.
Work with a US based edtech startup applying AI to real-world learning.
Collaborate directly with the co-founder and early product team.
Build expertise in Electron, React, and AI integration.
