Full Stack Developer with Nest.js

As a Node.js Developer at our company, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining back-end services and APIs using NestJS. You will collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic and develop robust, reusable, and scalable server-side solutions with a focus on performance and low latency. Your role will involve troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing existing applications, participating in code reviews, and working closely with DevOps to manage and deploy applications to production environments. It is essential to stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain back-end services and APIs using NestJS. - Implement business logic and data models in a structured and scalable manner. - Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. - Develop robust, reusable, and scalable server-side solutions focusing on high performance and low latency. - Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best software development practices. - Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications for performance enhancements. - Participate in code reviews to uphold high-quality code standards. - Work closely with DevOps for application management and deployment to production environments. - Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Strong experience with NestJS and building RESTful APIs or GraphQL-based services. - Solid understanding of TypeScript, Node.js, and asynchronous programming. - Experience with databases like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar. - Familiarity with ORMs (TypeORM, Sequelize, etc.) and query optimization. - Understanding of version control tools, such as Git. - Strong knowledge of authentication and security best practices (JWT, OAuth, etc.). - Familiarity with Docker and containerization. - Experience in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus. - Ability to write clean, maintainable, and reusable code. - Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. - Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
