Technical Requirements

Core Skills (Must Have):

Python 3.10+ (strong fundamentals)
FastAPI framework (RESTful API development)
PostgreSQL + SQLAlchemy ORM
Async/await patterns (asyncio, asyncpg)
Git version control (branching, PR workflow)
pytest (unit testing, mocking)
Linux/Unix command line

Backend Stack:

TimescaleDB (time-series data)
JWT authentication & authorization
HTTP client libraries (httpx, requests)
Docker basics
Environment configuration

Nice to Have:

Push notification services (APNS, FCM, Web Push)
Message queuing (MQTT)
CI/CD (GitHub Actions)
API documentation (OpenAPI/Swagger)
Professional Requirements (Critical)

Communication & Responsiveness:

Responds to PR reviews within 48 hours
Daily standup participation
Proactive communication when blocked
Clear commit messages and PR descriptions

Code Quality:

Writes comprehensive tests (coverage >20%)
Follows existing code patterns
