Job description As a Title searcher you will order, review, and maintain Title searches from the vendor companies to determine a propertys title legal condition. Summarizing recorded documents affecting to property, such as mortgages/deeds of trust, deeds, agreements, and associated documents, probate, divorce, tax bills, certificates, including establishment of chain of title for requested timeline (till State statute and Developer.), you will also examine GI matters for the affecting owners. Finally, prepare initial title commitment documentation on the various applications (in house and client application) of appropriate codes from the title code book. JOB REQUIREMENTS and SKILLS Strong knowledge on Title Insurance/Title Abstracting/Mortgage search process Should have sound knowledge in searching using Online County Public Records. Analyzing skills Good Communication skills Flexibility Stability Adaptability Teamwork Functions/Responsibilities Participates in delivering the assigned task adhering to quality standards under the guidance/supervision of identified mentor or lead. Performs title examination of PIQ requiring an online high level of expertise. Examines the chain of Title for orders with various complexity. Prepares initial title commitment documentation using client and in-house typing platform. Competencies Good Knowledge of property index, general index, lines and encumbrances and all basics of title process. Should be aware about Title applications like various online County Public Records (netronline), Landex, Doxpop, Fidler, Tapestry, data trace, datatree, softpro, titlescan, titlepoint, titleflex etc. Computer Experience MS Office, Excel, PPT, Typing skills with accuracy of 95% and above and speed of 35 wpm.
