Frontend Developer

Job Description

SMC2 is looking for a Frontend developer who has proficient knowledge of multiple programming languages along with the ability to take epics and user stories and develop the end-to-end technical design for an entire application to be run in production. The Frontend developer has the ability to lay out detailed technical requirements to the product team. Ability to guide and direct work in multiple projects and ensure proper quality as part of design efforts in building a system to be put into production. Thorough understand of life cycle development through production implementation and post-implementation. Role & responsibilities • Build web applications using various front-end frameworks. • Experienced in front-end Responsive UI development as well as backend (for the front-end) development. • Understands design (UI/UX or API) and can translate design to code. • Excellent communication skills and cross-functional work experience with Product and Project managers, UI/UX designers, Technical leads, etc. • Experienced in working in a agile development environment - use process and project tools e.g. Jira. • Must have core skills HTML/CSS, Javascript, React, jQuery, Bootstrap, Nodejs, Responsive Design/Development • Good command with build tools, code bundling, optimization needs e.g. Gulp, Webpack. • Salesforce Commercloud experience - is a plus.
