Front-End Silicon Design & Integration (FEINT) - Lead

As a Front-End Silicon Design & Integration (FEINT) Lead at AMD, your role will involve managing the design and integration of embedded micro-processor subsystems, hardware accelerators, and other IPs critical for enhancing system performance across various AMD products. You will lead a team of engineers to perform RTL synthesis, PPA analysis, ECO, and static verification tasks to improve the Quality of Result (QoR) of RTL designs. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing strategies, concepts, and scripting solutions for various aspects of FEINT, managing regression processes, improving workflow, and collaborating with project management and other team leads for successful project milestones. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and adopt strategies for RTL synthesis, timing path analysis, and PPA analysis to enhance QoR at the subsystem and block level designs - Create and adopt ECO strategies for netlist and RTL ECO, and conduct LEC validations - Develop solutions for RTL static design rule checks in collaboration with RTL design and methodology teams - Manage FEINT regression process, improve workflow, processes, and quality metrics for continuous improvement - Support IP integration with SoC team and coordinate issue resolution - Collaborate with project management and team leads for successful project milestones and quality metrics Preferred Experience: - Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in FEINT engineering - Strong understanding of RTL design, synthesis, and ECO principles - Proficiency in FE design tools such as Design/Fusion Compiler, Prime Time, Power Artist, Conformal, Formality, etc. - Familiarity with VCS/Verdi and SPG based verification environments - Proficient in Verilog, C/C++, and scripting languages (Tcl, Ruby, Perl, Python, Makefile) - Excellent skills in Unix/Linux environment - Understanding of gate-level circuit design and physical-level design concepts - Effective communication skills and ability to mentor and guide junior and senior engineers - Prior technical management experience is a plus Academic Credentials: - Major in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science - Master's Degree preferred Location: Bangalore, India Qualifications: - Detailed benefits are provided in the AMD benefits package.
