Front end Engineer

Role Overview: You are sought after to fill the position of a Frontend Engineer for Uncompromised, a client of Uplers. As a Frontend Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to develop intuitive, performant, and highly functional interfaces for the smart farm management platform. You will work on creating user experiences that seamlessly transition from mobile field work to desktop farm management dashboards. Key Responsibilities: - Frontend Development: - Construct responsive web applications using React and Next.js - Develop native mobile applications with React Native optimized for field use - Create reusable component libraries and maintain design system consistency - Implement data visualizations and build offline-capable mobile features - UX Engineering & Implementation: - Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality, responsive user interfaces - Implement user-centered interface patterns optimized for different agricultural user types - Build mobile-first experiences with intuitive navigation and touch interactions - Collaborate with product teams to implement user flows and interaction patterns - Conduct usability testing and iterate based on user feedback - Cross-Platform Development: - Ensure design consistency across web, tablet, and mobile applications - Implement responsive layouts for various screen sizes - Build touch-optimized interfaces suitable for agricultural settings - Create seamless handoffs between mobile field work and desktop workflows - AI-Augmented Development & Design: - Utilize AI tools for accelerated design and development workflows - Leverage AI for generating UI components and optimizing user flows - Stay updated with AI design and development tools, promoting adoption across the team Qualification Required: - Frontend Technologies: - Excellent skills in React and Next.js with production application experience - Proficiency in React Native for native mobile app development - Vue.js experience considered a bonus - UX Engineering Skills: - Strong UX implementation skills translating designs into functional interfaces - Understanding of user-centered design principles and responsive design patterns - Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design implementation - Technical Skills: - Proficiency with AI development tools and state management - Experience with API integration, build tools, CI/CD pipelines, and version control - Familiarity with DevOps workflows and collaborative development practices Additional Company Details: Uncompromised, whose headquarters and pilot farms are located in Udaipur, Rajasthan, is committed to regenerative agriculture.
