Role Overview: As a QA Engineer, you will join a dynamic team responsible for ensuring the quality of our web applications through both manual and automated testing. Key Responsibilities Implement automated testing using Cypress for web applications. Assist in developing and maintaining test cases and automation scripts. Perform manual testing to identify defects and ensure software quality. Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and provide feedback. Document and track defects using tools like leantime or similar defect tracking systems. Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Strong foundation in software testing principles and methodologies (e.g., functional, regression testing). Basic knowledge of JavaScript and HTML is desirable. Knowledge of Cypress. Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks is a plus. Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies. Excellent analytical and communication skills. Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to a fast-paced setting. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Knowledge of other testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman) is a plus. Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git. Previous internship or project experience in software testing is a plus but not mandatory. Knowledge of defect tracking tools like leantime or similar systems. Understanding of web application architecture and APIs. Knowledge of docker and containerization is a plus. Basic understanding of performance testing concepts.
