Freight Broker/TRANSPORTATION DISPATCHER

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• For our US-based freight forwarder and Logistics Company, we're seeking an experienced and trained candidates with outstanding communication skills, goals to reach, and expertise working with shippers, customers, and drivers.
• Develop a shipper sales funnel by generating leads and attract potential prospects.
• To ensure the highest quality service for accounts and their shipping lanes, identify and pick trustworthy and safe carriers.
• Provide shipment estimates to customers.
• Assist in the loading and unloading of carriers.
• To manage planned collections and drop-offs, collaborate with shippers, carriers, and dispatchers.
• Keep clients and carriers informed about transit schedules, appointment times, and the present position of trucks in transit. Check to see if delivery were made on time.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge about freight carrier services in order to be successful in acquiring new customers and retaining existing ones.
• Work both independently and as part of a team.

Skills:

• 1+ years of experience as a freight broker in a United States-based logistics firm
• TRUCK STOP and POWER DAT knowledge
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Negotiation skills that are second to none.
• Outstanding interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to adapt and manage different tasks while working independently is a must.
• Excellent problem-solving and cognitive abilities
• Able to resolve consumer issues or complaints
• Must be fluent in English
• Able to listen to and comprehend information and ideas conveyed via spoken words and sentences.
• Able to multitask when using email and instant messaging, which includes maintaining at least two phones.
• Able to focus on minute details in a high-stress situation

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
