Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Video Editor with a strong film background to work on a 2-month freelance/contract basis. The role involves editing reels, contents, and promotional content, with a strong focus on cinematic storytelling and narrative flow.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit full-length feature films, trailers, teasers, and promotional videos with cinematic storytelling.
• Collaborate closely with directors, cinematographers, and sound designers to execute the director’s vision.
• Apply advanced editing techniques to enhance visual appeal, pacing, and narrative structure.
• Manage and organize raw footage, media files, and project timelines efficiently.
• Implement visual effects, transitions, sound syncing, and basic color grading as required.
• Ensure timely delivery of edits while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and techniques in film and video editing.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in film or media editing (movie background preferred).
• Strong proficiency in Avid Media Composer (mandatory).
• Working knowledge of:
• Adobe Premiere Pro
• DaVinci Resolve
• Final Cut Pro
• Knowledge of Adobe After Effects is an added advantage.
• Excellent understanding of visual storytelling, rhythm, and cinematic pacing.
• Good knowledge of color correction, sound syncing, and post-production workflows.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.

• This is a short-term freelance/contract role (2 months).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
