Freelance Graphic Designer

You are an experienced and creative Graphic Designer who will be responsible for designing and laying out a high-quality coffee table book. Your role involves conceptualizing and designing the overall look and feel of the book, collaborating with the content team, photographers, and printers, creating captivating layouts, selecting images, and ensuring a visually appealing flow. Additionally, you will prepare print-ready files as per publication standards and ensure timely delivery of design drafts and final files within agreed timelines. Key Responsibilities: - Conceptualise and design the overall look and feel of the coffee table book - Collaborate with content team, photographers, and printers as needed - Create captivating layouts, select images, and ensure a visually appealing flow - Prepare print-ready files as per publication standards and specifications - Ensure timely delivery of design drafts and final files within agreed timelines Qualifications Required: - Minimum 5 years of professional experience in graphic design, with a strong focus on publication or book design - Proficiency in industry-standard design tools (Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) - Strong aesthetic sense with attention to detail and visual storytelling - Prior experience designing coffee table books or similar premium publications is highly desirable - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines The company is offering this engagement on a Freelance / Assignment Basis, with the duration and fee to be discussed based on the project scope. The work location is at Barakhamba Road, CP, with occasional in-person meetings required at least twice a week.
