Job Title: Store Manager – Freeky99 Retail Outlet Locations: Topsia, Kolkata Salary: ₹2.40 - ₹3.00 Lakhs per annum + Performance-based Incentives About Freeky99 Freeky99 is a lifestyle retail brand offering a wide range of trendy and affordable products across categories like Plush Toys, Home Essentials, Kitchenware, Coffee Mugs, Sippers, Kids' Stationery, Backpacks, Home Décor, Babycare, Ladies' Handbags, Artificial Jewellery, and Fashion Accessories. The brand focuses on creating a vibrant shopping experience for customers across age groups. Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs): 1. Store Operations & Management Oversee day-to-day operations of the retail outlet to ensure smooth functioning and adherence to brand standards. Manage store opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, security protocols, and compliance checks. Ensure the store maintains high standards of cleanliness, visual merchandising, and product display at all times. Monitor and maintain store infrastructure, fixtures, and equipment in optimal working condition. 2. Sales & Revenue Management Drive store sales performance to achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets. Analyze sales data, identify trends, and implement strategies to maximize revenue and profitability. Plan and execute promotional campaigns, seasonal offers, and in-store marketing activities in coordination with the marketing team. Monitor competitor activities and recommend strategic initiatives to maintain competitive advantage. 3. Team Leadership & Development Lead, motivate, and manage a team of Sales Executives to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales goals. Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and training sessions to enhance product knowledge and selling skills. Recruit, onboard, and train new team members in alignment with organizational requirements. Foster a positive, collaborative work environment and resolve team conflicts effectively. Set individual and team KPIs and monitor performance metrics to drive accountability. 4. Inventory & Stock Management Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing overstock and stockouts. Coordinate with the warehouse and supply chain team for timely stock replenishment and order processing. Conduct regular physical stock audits and maintain accurate inventory records. Monitor product expiry dates, damages, and shrinkage; take corrective action as needed. Analyze fast-moving and slow-moving products and provide recommendations for inventory optimization. 5. Customer Experience & Service Excellence Ensure every customer receives a memorable shopping experience through personalized service and product recommendations. Handle customer complaints, queries, and escalations promptly and professionally to maintain brand reputation. Build long-term customer relationships and loyalty programs to encourage repeat business. Gather customer feedback and insights to improve store operations and product offerings. 6. Financial & Administrative Management Oversee daily cash management, POS transactions, and end-of-day reconciliations with accuracy. Monitor store expenses, budgets, and cost controls to ensure profitability. Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports, MIS, and operational updates to senior management. Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and retail regulations. 7. Visual Merchandising & Store Presentation Implement visual merchandising guidelines and creative displays to enhance product visibility and attract customers. Regularly update store layouts, window displays, and promotional signage based on seasonal trends and campaigns. Collaborate with the marketing and brand teams to align in-store presentation with brand identity. 8. Policy Compliance & Discipline Ensure adherence to company policies, including attendance, code of conduct, and operational procedures. Maintain a safe and secure work environment for staff and customers. Uphold brand values and ethics in all store activities and interactions. Desired Candidate Profile: Qualification: Graduate or Postgraduate (preferably in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field). Age: 25–40 years. Experience: 3–7 years in retail store management, preferably in lifestyle, fashion. Skills: Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills. Excellent communication and customer-handling abilities. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving store profitability. Proficiency in inventory management, POS systems, and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and take data-driven decisions. Attributes: Result-oriented, proactive, and highly organized. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
