Foundry moulding

The Green Sand Moulding Supervisor is responsible for overseeing high-pressure moulding operations using HPML and Arpa 300 machines. This includes managing a team of moulders, ensuring mould quality, meeting production targets, and maintaining machine uptime and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day operations on HPML and Arpa 300 green sand moulding lines.
• Assign and monitor tasks to ensure smooth workflow and productivity.
• Ensure moulds meet dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and alignment standards.
• Coordinate with the pattern shop for correct pattern setup and changeovers.
• Monitor sand properties (moisture, compactability, etc.) and report abnormalities.
• Identify and resolve issues like mismatch, flash, blowholes, or misruns in moulds.
• Ensure regular cleaning and maintenance of moulding machines and related equipment.
• Enforce safety rules and proper use of PPE among team members.
• Maintain shift-wise production and quality reports.
• Train and support operators and new employees on HPML/Arpa operations and safety.
