Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will ensure that all mechanical components and processes meet internal quality standards and customer specifications. The role involves developing and implementing quality control systems, conducting inspections, analyzing production data, and collaborating closely with production and engineering teams to maintain product quality. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement quality assurance plans, inspection processes, and test procedures for incoming, in-process, and finished mechanical parts. • Perform visual and dimensional inspections using precision instruments (e.g., Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, CMM, etc.). • Prepare and maintain QA documentation including inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCR), and corrective/preventive action reports (CAPA). • Monitor supplier quality performance and assist in incoming material inspection. • Support first article inspection (FAI) and PPAP documentation. • Train and guide shop floor operators on quality standards and inspection techniques. ________________________________________ Key Skills: • Strong knowledge of mechanical drawing reading and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) • Proficient in MS Office • Hands-on experience in handling measurement instruments • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
