You will be responsible for managing the preparation and submission of forest diversion applications in accordance with the "Van (Sanrakshan Evam Samvardhan) Adhiniyam, 1980" and obtaining Forest Clearance (Stage I and II) from MoEF&CC by submitting necessary documentation. Your key responsibilities will include conducting site visits and reconnaissance surveys, preparing and submitting Forest Diversion Proposals (FDP) on Parivesh 2.0 Portal, creating digitized maps, presenting the project for approval, conducting physical activities on the ground, obtaining "No Objection Certificate" under Forest (Rights) Act 2006, and following up for Forest Clearance Application to obtain Stage I and II Clearance. You will also provide necessary assistance and follow-up with MoEF&CC and Forest Authorities, as well as be responsible for the preparation of all related processes and documentation. To qualify for this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Forestry or a related field, or be a retired forest officer. A minimum of 5 years of experience in forest land diversion and obtaining forest clearances is required. You should possess strong knowledge of the "Van (Sanrakshan Evam Samvardhan) Adhiniyam, 1980" and Forest (Rights) Act 2006, proficiency in GIS software (such as ArcGIS, DWG, KMZ, KML), excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
