Job Title: Bartender Department: Food & Beverage / Bar Operations Location: Restaurant / Lounge / Hotel Bar Job Summary: The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining bar inventory, ensuring bar cleanliness, and delivering an exceptional guest experience. The role requires strong product knowledge, creativity, speed, and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as per standard recipes. Create cocktails, mocktails, and signature drinks as per menu and guest preferences. Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar at all times. Engage with guests, take drink orders, and provide recommendations. Ensure responsible alcohol service and follow all legal and company guidelines. Manage bar inventory, conduct stock checks, and report shortages. Prepare garnishes, pre-mixes, and bar setup before service. Maintain cleanliness of bar counters, equipment, glassware, and utensils. Handle cash, billing, and POS transactions accurately. Work closely with service staff and bar assistants to ensure smooth operations. Follow hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards. Assist in creating new beverages and participating in beverage promotions. Requirements: Minimum HSC; certification in bartending or mixology preferred. 1–3 years of experience in bar operations or beverage service. Strong knowledge of spirits, wines, cocktails, and bar equipment. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and maintain speed with accuracy.
