Accountable for overall success of the daily kitchen operations Exhibits culinary talents by personally performing tasks while leading the staff and managing all food related functions Works to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction while maximizing the financial performance in all areas of responsibility Supervises all kitchen areas to ensure a consistent, high quality product is produced Responsible for guiding and developing staff including direct reports Must ensure sanitation and food standards are achieved Areas of responsibility comprise overseeing all food preparation areas. Set up the kitchen with cooking utensils and equipment, like knives, pans and kitchen scales • Study each recipe and gather all necessary ingredients • Cook food in a timely manner • Delegate tasks to kitchen staff • Inform wait staff about daily specials • Ensure appealing plate presentation • Supervise Cooks and assist as needed • Slightly modify recipes to meet customers needs and requests (e.g. reduce salt, remove dairy) • Monitor food stock and place orders • Check freshness of food and discard out-of-date items • Experiment with recipes and suggest new ingredients • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area

Greet and escort customers to their tables. Present menu and provide detailed information when asked. Prepare tables by setting up. Inform customers about the days specials. Up-sell additional products when appropriate. Serve food and drink orders. Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems. Meet with restaurant staff to review daily specials, changes on the menu and service specifications for reservations (e.g. parties). Follow all relevant health department regulations. *Key Responsibilities* 1. *Greet and assist visitors*: Welcome guests, respond to inquiries, and direct them to the relevant personnel. 2. *Manage Food And Beverage Serviceoperations*: Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and handle mail and packages. 3. *Provide customer service*: Resolve customer complaints, provide information, and support to customers. 4. *Maintain office supplies and equipment*: Order supplies, maintain equipment, and ensure the service area is tidy and organized. 5. *Maintain confidentiality*: Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. *Requirements* 1. *Education*: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality, business, or related field preferred. 2. *Experience*: 0-1 year of experience in a front office or customer service role. 3. *Skills*: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications. 4. *Language*: Fluency in English; additional languages an asset.
