1. Developing new food products to meet customer specifications and regulatory requirements. This involves conducting experiments, designing recipes, and optimizing food formulations and micronutrients to achieve the desired taste, texture, functionality, and shelf life. 2. Stay up-to-date with food safety regulations and standards, such as those from the FSSAI. 8. Conduct research and analysis to identify market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor products 9. Conduct experiments and trials to optimize food production processes and maximize efficiency 10. Stay updated on industry trends and market demands to identify potential product opportunities 11. Develop a systematic approach to issues and troubleshoot them Candidate Profile 1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the Functional Foods/FMCG/ Nutraceutical industry. 2. Strong technical knowledge of functional foods/ Nutraceutical processing techniques, ingredient functionality, and formulation. 3 Proven experience in the formulation and development of various food products for industries like oil, milk and milk products, flour, rice, bread-bakery, confectionery, beverages, RTC/RTE. 4. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex data sets. 5. Familiarity with food safety and quality management systems. 6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. 7. Detail-oriented, with good organizational and time management skills. 8. Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
