Exhibition Designer - Job Description At Folklogue Studios, we are engaged in research, documentation & multi-media production for socially, culturally, and historically significant projects. We've worked on a variety of projects over the years, from museums, films, scripts, immersive experiences, multimedia shows to social & heritage projects, and large scale documentation & archiving initiatives. We are currently seeking a highly creative and collaborative Exhibition Designer , based in Delhi NCR to join our team and help shape engaging, story-driven environments that inform, inspire and connect audiences through space and design. The ideal candidate will have A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Exhibition Design/ Spatial Design or a related field. 2-5 years of professional experience in museum, exhibition or immersive spatial design, with a proven track record of executed projects. Demonstrated proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Blender, AutoCAD and other relevant software. A multi-disciplinary approach to communicate information and ideas across diverse physical and digital environments. A strong background/experience in spatial storytelling, communication and exhibition design. A keen eye for detail and commitment to thorough research. Proven experience in designing immersive experiences that use physical space, interactivity, visuals and curated display of art/artefacts/tangible exhibits to tell compelling stories. A working knowledge of structures, typography, visual design principles, with an understanding of human-centred design. Familiarity with fabrication techniques, materials and on-site implementation processes. Versatility in working across diverse formats including thematic interiors, scenography, experiential design, environmental branding and signage systems. Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse teams of researchers, curators, artists, architects, implementation partners, museum professionals and clients. Creative aptitude for designing innovative, immersive experiences that are both sensorially rich, emotionally resonant and technically sound. Willingness to travel as and when project demands arise. Responsibilities: Conceptualize, design and lead experiences from ideation and research to execution — including but not limited to presentation development, image-making (including different types of renders, layout plans, visualizations, and design mock-ups), narrative structuring, spatial design planning, scenography and the integration of interactive media technologies. Craft immersive design solutions that combine spatial layout, storytelling, visual development, lighting design, media integration and scenographic elements for both competition proposals and active ongoing projects while adapting to varying timelines and delivery requirements based on the nature of each project. Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams including in-house writers, researchers, curators and illustrators, as well as external partners including architects, execution and design agencies, and government officials. Generate engaging conceptual visuals that effectively articulate the team’s ideas, design intent, and narrative direction for presentations, pitches, and internal reviews. Demonstrate proficiency in design and drafting software such as Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Blender, AutoCAD, and Rhino to develop detailed technical drawings, layout plans, and visualizations that support execution and fabrication. Participate in on-site supervision, prototyping and vendor coordination when necessary. Ensure designs are responsive to museum environments, with a strong understanding of artefact/tangible exhibit display, conservation considerations, visitor movement, and accessibility. Maintain workflow discipline, meet project timelines and ensure quality delivery. Stay current with design trends, materials, technologies and interactive media tools relevant to the field. Role Overview – Business Development Intern We’re looking for a driven and passionate Business Development Intern to support our outreach and partnership efforts across schools, cultural institutions, and education organizations in India. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys communication, relationship-building, and wants to be part of a meaningful, culture-driven mission. Key Responsibilities Assist in identifying and reaching out to potential partners – schools, NGOs, cultural bodies, etc. Support the BD team in crafting communication strategies and email/WhatsApp outreach templates.
