Responsibilities Assist in building responsive and user-friendly web applications using Next.js and React. Implement UI components from design mockups (Figma/Adobe XD) or reference website. Work with REST APIs — fetching, displaying, and managing data inside Next.js. Handle client-side and server-side API calls using fetch, Axios, or SWR/React Query. Learn and apply Next.js features such as routing, API routes, and data fetching (SSR, SSG, ISR). Debug and fix issues related to API responses (loading states, error handling). Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth integration of frontend and backend. Write clean, maintainable, and documented code. Required Skills Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+) and React.js fundamentals. Familiarity with Next.js basics (pages, routing, components). Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive layouts. Ability to consume APIs (REST, JSON) and manage data in UI. Basic understanding of state management (React Hooks, Context API). Knowledge of Git (basic commands: clone, commit, push, pull). Design and develop custom WordPress themes, plugins and integrations of API’s Manage the development of new websites from concept to deployment. Implement responsive and mobile-friendly designs using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Bootstrap/Tailwind. Troubleshoot and resolve plugin conflicts, theme issues, and server-related errors. Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure creative and responsive designs. Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO best practices. Manage project timelines and ensure delivery within deadlines. Conduct regular audits for security vulnerabilities and performance bottlenecks. Should be adaptable to latest technologies and new trends Maintain documentation related to customizations, plugins, and development processes Update and maintain existing WordPress websites, ensuring compatibility with the latest PHP versions Required SkillsProficiency in WordPress, PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL. Experience with popular page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg. Familiarity with ACF, and other common WordPress plugins. Understanding of PHP version compatibility issues and how to debug/fix them. Experience with Git version control and deployment workflows. Strong Experience of REST APIs, AJAX, and third-party integrations. Knowledge of Server-side management on cPanel, WHM, Linux servers, AWS & Digital Ocean Excellent time management and communication skills.
