As a member of our testing team at Vecmocon, the ideal candidate should possess a strong background in electrical engineering and significant experience in integrating and understanding chargers. Your primary role will involve testing and implementing advanced and smart chargers for electric vehicles, contributing to delivering impactful outcomes within the broader EV industry ecosystem, including OEMs, ODMs, and battery manufacturers. Key Responsibilities: - Test and debug Smart chargers designed for electric vehicles. - Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and develop test plans to validate charger performance. - Collaborate with Hardware and Software teams to integrate chargers with electric vehicle powertrains. - Prepare comprehensive test reports and documentation. - Analyze data to optimize system performance and identify areas for improvement. - Provide technical support and troubleshoot charger-related issues. Required Education & Skillset: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics. - Strong understanding of fundamental Electrical and Electronics concepts. - Basic knowledge of embedded hardware and the ability to comprehend schematics. - Hands-on experience in soldering, including SMT/THC. - Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Preferred Skills: - Familiarity with popular SMPS topologies like flybuck converters, LLC, PFC, etc., and temperature monitoring & fault protection. - Understanding of various types of chargers for electric vehicles, such as onboard and portable chargers, battery types, and component knowledge.
