· Food and beverage preparation and service: Prepare and serve food and drinks, including coffee and tea · Customer service: Take orders, advise on specials and allergens, and provide quality service · Cash handling: Operate cash registers, take payments, and give receipts · Cleaning: Clean tables, floors, equipment, and other areas to ensure hygiene · Stocking: Restock the counter, ensure the cafe is fully stocked, and rotate stock · Hygiene: Follow hygiene and health and safety procedures, and ensure food is cooked and stored hygienically · Waste disposal: Collect and dispose of waste · Stocktake: Participate in stocktakes and assist with putting away new stock · Delivery assistance: Assist suppliers with unloading deliveries, unpacking, and storing food · Cafe staff should have good customer service and communication skills, be reliable, well presented, and have cash handling skills. · Opening the cafe at scheduled time; · Cleaning the equipment and other tools before using; · Describe menu items to customer, order or receive the stock supplies or retail products · Take out garbage, to clean and sanitize work areas, utensils and equipment · Be punctual and have consistent attendance, · Experienced and comfortable with working busy shifts, should be tidy and self-disciplined. Working hours are from 3pm to 12am with one week off part time 7pm to 12am
