Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Router at FLASH VIVEN MACHINING TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED, located in Palasi. The Router will be responsible for setting up and operating routing machines, interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring precise cuts and profiles on materials. The role involves maintaining machinery, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring adherence to safety standards. The Router will also work closely with the production team to meet deadlines and production targets. Design jigs, fixtures, gauges, and automation peripherals for machining processes such as: CNC Turning, Hobbing, Shaping, Shaving, Drilling, Chamfering, ID/OD Grinding, Gear Grinding, etc. 2. Prepare 2D manufacturing drawings using AutoCAD with accurate GD&T. 3. Conduct technical feasibility studies for tooling based on part geometry and process requirements. 4. Execute tool tryouts, validation, and performance evaluations for dimensional and functional accuracy. 5. Coordinate with Suppliers, Purchase, and Materials departments to ensure timely availability of tooling. 6. Handle reverse engineering of machine parts and legacy tooling as per needs. 7. Implement Kaizen, setup time reduction, Poka-Yoke, and tooling standardization to drive efficiency and quality. 8. Investigate tooling-related issues in production or trials and initiate corrective actions with documentation. 9. Participate in cross-functional feasibility discussions for machine requirements based on new part/process needs. 10. Gather machine specifications from suppliers and match with process requirements. 11. Support in preparing technical comparison sheets. 12. Coordinate internal team feedback for scope finalization. 13. Conduct machine trials, validate technical parameters, and ensure process capability as per defined criteria before handing over to production for serial use. 14. Support validation report preparation and sign-offs. Skills Required : • Strong experience in jig, fixture, and gauge design for high-precision automotive parts. • Familiarity with gear and shaft manufacturing processes and critical tolerances. • Proficient in AutoCAD, GD&T. • Exposure to APQP, PPAP, Control Plan, FMEA. • Hands-on experience with process improvement tools: Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, Root Cause Analysis (RCA). • Effective coordination and communication across Engineering, Production, Quality, and Supplier teams.
