The ideal candidate will have strong experience in mechanical design and proficiency in CAD tools, with a focus on industrial automation and tire manufacturing systems. Key Responsibilities: Develop detailed mechanical designs using 2D and 3D CAD tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Autodesk Inventor . Interpret and adapt mechanical designs from German and Slovakian OEMs . Participate in design reviews with international teams and implement feedback through iterative design improvements. Prepare and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) based on design inputs. Understand and interpret assembly instructions in line with OEM standards. Support prototyping and validation of mechanical automation components and assemblies. Convert material specifications from DIN (German) to IS (Indian) standards for local applicability. Modify and replace non-standard tubular sections with standard Indian profiles to ensure compliance with local availability. Visit vendors to troubleshoot and resolve on-site manufacturing challenges while ensuring design quality and intent. Generate in-house inspection reports and maintain engineering documentation. Coordinate with manufacturing and procurement teams to meet project and operational goals. Key Skills Required: Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor Strong understanding of mechanical components and assemblies Knowledge of DIN and IS standards Experience in working with international design teams Vendor coordination and problem-solving Effective communication and documentation skills Prior experience in tire machinery or industrial automation design is a plus Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Hands-on experience in prototyping and assembly validation
