The successful candidate will work remotely to support the design, analysis, and optimization of power systems by leveraging advanced software tools and techniques. Key Responsibilities: • Utilize Siemens PSS/E software for conducting power system analyses, including load flow, short circuit, and stability studies. • Develop and implement Python scripts using PSSpy to automate and enhance simulation tasks. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate innovative solutions in power system operations and optimization. • Conduct system optimization and performance evaluation studies using these advanced software tools. • Interpret simulation results and provide actionable insights to improve system design and functionality. • Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation on project findings and recommendations. • Stay updated with industry trends and technological advancements to incorporate best practices into projects. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. • Extensive experience with Siemens PSS/E software and Python programming. • Proficiency in PSSpy libraries for power system simulation. • Strong understanding of power systems and engineering principles. • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote team environment. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Preferred Skills: • Experience in power system projects and their challenges. • Familiarity developing automation/ scripts with python and or other languages, and Siemens’ PSSE python based APIs is highly desirable • Effective communication and presentation skills.
