Role Overview: JS TechAlliance Consulting Private Limited is looking for a skilled Embedded Developer with expertise in embedded systems and proficiency in C/C++ programming. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing firmware for Z-Wave end devices such as switches, roller shutters, and sensors. This role requires a deep understanding of Silicon Labs controllers and hands-on experience with Simplicity Studio. Prior knowledge of Z-Wave device development would be advantageous. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain firmware for Z-Wave end devices like switches, roller shutters, and sensors. - Develop and integrate drivers and low-level software for microcontrollers and peripherals. - Collaborate with hardware teams for platform bring-up, board debugging, and new platform introductions. - Utilize Z-Wave SDK and Simplicity Studio for device provisioning, configuration, and testing. - Implement and manage communication protocols, focusing on Z-Wave technology. - Optimize software for enhanced performance, memory utilization, and power efficiency in embedded systems. - Perform unit tests, debugging, and issue resolution for released firmware. Qualifications Must-Have: - 3+ years of experience in embedded systems development. - Proficiency in C/C++ programming with a strong grasp of embedded software design patterns. - Experience working with Silicon Labs controllers and proficiency in Simplicity Studio development. - Hands-on experience in real-time embedded systems development and debugging. - Strong understanding of hardware-software interfaces including UART/I2C/SPI, GPIO, ADC, timers, etc. Nice to Have (Preferred): - Prior experience with Z-Wave protocol stack and device development. - Familiarity with Silicon Labs Z-Wave SDKs. - Knowledge of low-power design principles and optimization for battery-powered devices. - Exposure to wireless communication standards and protocols such as BLE, Zigbee, and Thread is considered a plus.
