Job Description

As a Systems Validation Engineer at UST, you will play a crucial role in the development and automation of system test plans and test cases for various modules and products such as compute, accelerators, and GPUs used in Data Center or Cloud environments. Your responsibilities will include working closely with silicon, platform hardware, and firmware teams to ensure that the test content aligns with product requirements. You will be tasked with developing automation for the test content and executing it to ensure that the products meet quality standards, specifications, project schedules, and timelines. Your expertise in systems engineering, embedded systems qualification and validation, system level integration, and automation frameworks like Robot Framework will be essential in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Develop system test plans, test cases, and automation for individual modules/products - Interface with silicon, platform hardware, and firmware teams for test content development - Create automation scripts using Python/RUST and Robot framework - Design and execute automated testing pipelines and CI/CD systems - Conduct system level debugging and triage production-level issues - Perform stress, performance, and reliability testing - Report project status and communicate effectively with stakeholders Essential Experience: - Strong background in systems engineering, hardware exposure, and network/system management - Proficiency in automation frameworks like Robot Framework - Experience with Python/RUST for automation scripting - Ability to create system test cases, test plans, and automate test execution - Familiarity with IPMI, BMC, SNMP, BIOS, and device drivers - Hands-on experience in firmware validation, Linux device drivers, and OS internals - Knowledge of system buses like PCIe, I2C, I3C, SPI, SCSI, NVMe, and USB - Previous experience in creating automated testing pipelines and CI/CD systems What We Believe: At UST, we value humility, humanity, and integrity.
