Job Title: Fire & Safety Technician

Experience Required: 3 to 5 Years

Job Summary:

The Fire & Safety Technician will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repair, and installation of fire protection systems and safety equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in fire detection, suppression systems, and compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, test, and maintain fire detection and suppression systems (e.g., fire alarms, sprinklers, fire extinguishers, hydrants, and smoke detectors).
• Conduct routine safety inspections and audits of equipment, tools, and worksites.
• Identify fire and safety hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Respond to emergency situations and provide first-line response to fire alarms and other safety-related incidents.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, repairs, and incidents.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA, OSHA, and local safety regulations.
• Assist in fire drills, evacuation procedures, and safety training sessions.
• Maintain and calibrate safety instruments (e.g., gas detectors, emergency lighting).
• Support installation and commissioning of fire and safety systems in new facilities.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for servicing and maintenance of safety equipment.

Required Qualifications:

• Diploma or ITI in Fire & Safety / Industrial Safety or related field.
• Certification in Fire Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, NFPA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience as a Fire & Safety Technician.
• Good understanding of fire protection systems and safety regulations.
• Ability to read technical manuals and safety drawings.
• Proficient in using safety tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
