Financial Accounting & Reporting * Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliations. * Prepare and finalize *monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements* in compliance with banking/fintech industry norms. * Ensure accuracy of trial balance, P\&L statements, and balance sheets. * Manage accruals, provisions, and deferred revenue recognition. Banking & Treasury Management * Monitor *escrow accounts, virtual accounts (VANs), settlement accounts*, and related banking transactions. * Handle reconciliation of *payouts, pay-ins, IMPS, NEFT, RTGS, UPI, and card transactions*. * Track fund flows, settlement cycles, and maintain adequate liquidity controls. * Support treasury functions including cash flow planning and fund allocation. Compliance & Audit * Ensure compliance with * accounting standards (Ind-AS/IFRS), and statutory regulations*. * Coordinate with internal auditors, statutory auditors, and regulatory bodies. * Prepare MIS reports for management, investors, and banking partners. * Support in *VAPT, financial due diligence, and audit queries*. Process & Controls * Implement strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risk. * Automate reconciliation and reporting workflows using financial tools/software. * Mentor junior accountants and finance executives, providing leadership and review support. Preferred Skills * Experience in working with *payment aggregators, NBFCs, or banks*. * Knowledge of *taxation (GST, TDS), ROC filings, and RBI reporting formats*. * Exposure to *fintech reconciliations (UPI, IMPS, card settlements, VAN transactions)*. * Ability to build scalable finance processes for high-volume transactions.
