Job Description

Role Overview: As a Cloud Cost Optimization Analyst at Capgemini, you will be responsible for analyzing AWS spend using tools like Cost Explorer, CUR, and CloudWatch. Your role will involve implementing cost-saving strategies such as RI, Spot Instances, and EC2 rightsizing. You will also be required to automate cost controls and alerts using Terraform and Lambda, optimize S3 and RDS costs through lifecycle policies and performance insights, and develop chargeback/showback models and financial dashboards using tools like Power BI and QuickSight. Collaboration with engineering and finance teams to enforce FinOps best practices, conducting budgeting, forecasting, and anomaly detection, as well as promoting a FinOps culture through SOPs, training, and governance will be key aspects of your role.
